back from malaysia, back to a life of normalcy. almost, anyway. my grandparents brought us to this resort thingy in genting, where we stayed for 2 nights. grandpa went to play with the jackpot machines, everyone else went crazy with the rides and stuff. it was fun, for the most part. we spent a lot of time trying to persuade my grandma not to buy things. not easy, as my grandparents get quite mad when it comes to buying stuff. everything there was mega expensive, so we had to lie a lot, saying that we had the things at home already. I feel guilty now. especially after eating so much. I think I gained one kilo. we had this really big buffet lunch one day, and there was everything from chinese to turkish to japanese. we ate and ate and ate. the only things we didnt eat were breakfast and dinner. haha. enough about food. the scenery there is pretty (coulda used a better word). every morning there is mist everywhere, and the whole place is freezy cold. okay, that is all I have to say about the trip. it was fun, but it was also the longest time I have ever spoken chinese for. I mean, 3 days of imperfect chinese was not fun. I kept struggling to find better words to replace the normal "okay" and such. ick. okay end here.

complaining time. WHAT IN THE WORLD. the stupid date for the checking of posting results was postponed. OH MY. and they did this without informing us of anything. NOTHING. no explanation or whatever. they said, and I quote, "To all Sec 2 pupils: The Sec 2 streaming results will be announced on 14/Nov (Tuesday) Book list: submission of order by 17/Nov (Friday)". my mum was mad. very mad. ARGH. I am so PISSED with the school board now.

chalet news: have been given the green light about going to the chalet, or the barbeque to be precise. I dont think theres a good chance that I get to stay over, unless mrs toh stays overnight too. I doubt any of my class mates would want that. haha. okay, maybe I will go ask again. and this time I will ask about bringing the guitar too. =) at least this post ends on a happy note. lol.
