something struck me as I was going home from band prac yesterday. why do people join the band? for the CCA points, I guess. why did I join the band? because I'd thought that it was a great CCA where people love music. boy, was I ever wrong. I'm not directing this to anyone in particular.. but yeah. people are 'forced' to go for extra pracs and groan and complain each time. shouldnt everyone be committed and responsible? extra pracs are only given because the members are not up to standard. WHAT is the problem? come once or twice, get better, and you dont have to come again. not being able to read music doesnt mean that youre bad, you just have to work harder than those who actually Can read music. every time we go for practises, everyone has this really 'sian' look that really ticks me off. why come for band pracs anyway if youre so unwilling to learn? I thought that band was about challenging yourself to be the best that you can be... what happened to that? think on it for a second. =X
